Ordered a nice bike off eBay for my son, listed at fixed price with international shipping. Hard to mess up. But a few days later, the order was cancelled out of the blue, claiming "FedEx will not ship bikes to your country". This unfortunately after I told my son about the bike. I first tried pointing out the demonstrable inaccuracy of the claim. Then, realizing the seller was not really interested in solving the (non-existent) problem, I asked him to at least document it. Goodbye Cycle is the best service of its kind in my opinion. The bike trade-in values are good, customer service responsiveness is great, and they are very helpful with shipping questions and custom arrangements such as shipping directly from your local bike shop. I've sold three bikes to them, got paid the promised amount on time every time, and not a single problem. Highly recommended. Just be 100% honest about the condition of your bike, take good pictures, and pack it carefully for shipping or have your shop pack it.

Nice enough folks to give a quote on a bike on, and prompt in doing it. The massive lowball offer though strains credulity.
