I seem to be facing relataliaition from telling the County on them for since they appear to be withholding an AC unit I needed to keep my bedroom below 80f. They may have vandalize my security camera....scary! I had to call the police and file a report.
Ask for the Landlord Tenant handbook. Upon application that make you sign something illegal. Saying that they offered and you refused. They most provide a copy by law. Another crime committed, another law broken. Luisa, Lorena and Betsy need to be held accountable for their predatory practices.
They are illegally advertising 1 bedrooms as 2 bedrooms. If the bedroom leads out into the apartment stairwell it's not legally a bedroom and goes again MD and Montgomery County Code. "International Building Code (IBC) and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, both of which are legally adopted and enforced by Montgomery County, Maryland under the Montgomery County Code (Chapter 8, Building Code and Chapter 22, Fire Safety).
