We have a caregiver (Peggy) whom we LOVE through Good Samaritan. We use Good Samaritan with the expectation that they can provide backup should our primary caregiver be ill or on vacation. Using an agency such as Good Samaritan is significantly more expensive than independently hiring a caregiver, but we are willing to pay that higher rate because we don't want our 93 year old mother with mobility issues and mild dementia left alone in the event Peggy is not available. I have been with good Samaritan as a employee for almost a year. Let me tell you I would rate this company 10 Stars if I could. Really a great company to work for they treat you very well as a employee and person. They place you with great clients that become family and the community within the company it amazing I'm so grateful I found this company. ❤️
