We have a caregiver (Peggy) whom we LOVE through Good Samaritan. We use Good Samaritan with the expectation that they can provide backup should our primary caregiver be ill or on vacation. Using an agency such as Good Samaritan is significantly more expensive than independently hiring a caregiver, but we are willing to pay that higher rate because we don't want our 93 year old mother with mobility issues and mild dementia left alone in the event Peggy is not available. Really a great company to work for they treat you very well as a employee and person. Good Samaritan Senior Care truly cares for their clients and caregivers like family!!! The owners make it a point to listen and always open to ideas.
