Shout out to the excellent NICU nurses who took amazing care of my son! He is doing so well and gaining weight faster than babies his age-he has almost caught up to his peers in weight!!! 😲 we are so grateful for the nurses, who play a giant part in his success! He has gotten over every health issue he had as well and is eating like a champ! So many great nurses who were so caring, kind, patient, gentle, helpful, and knowledgeable. My husband was brought to the er today at around 4pm by ambulance due to not being able to breathe and a sharp pain in his side. They drew blood and took a urine sample. He has been here for 4 and a half hours with nothing being done! He got moved to the “waiting on results area” and has been completely forgotten about! I have been sitting here for close to an hour and no one has even looked into his room! He pushed the call light and it took the nurse almost 5 minutes to come check on him! Poor experience in the ED. Reached out to discuss what had happened because there was room to improve for other patients. They never even bothered to ask questions or try to understand. Obviously they are not interested in improving patient care.
From the time I needed the ER to Inpatient ,the staff were all amazing.I received excellent care! Even if the nurses were busy with breaks,meds to give other patients to serve,they were a ray of sunshine when I was not feeling my best! The Admissiona Staff and the Dietary Staff,the Housekeeping the Maintenance are the best! Exempla Good Sam's is the only hospital I only want to go to !
