Circumstances being what they are, we end up in an ER fairly regularly (as in usually 2 times a month). Good Samaritan Medical Center Dr's are amazing, actually reviewed my wife's charts while we were in the waiting room, met us at the room, quickly assessed her needs, and relieved her pain (kidney stone related) just as fast. We'll be going back for sure if and when necessary. It's a bit more of a drive, but totally worth it.
Every single staff member on the Cardiac floor treated us with kindness, compassion and patience. It was unbelievable and made our time there so much easier. Thank you for all you do! It did not go unnoticed or unappreciated!!
I had a hysterectomy surgery July 7th. My stay had been absolutely awesome! The staff has been so sweet and helpful. My doctor was awesome. The whole experience has been fantastic.
So I’m over hospitals pretending to care and then treating their patients like shit. I’m shocked by the treatment of my mother-in-law and the head nurse’s treatment regarding her discharge. In the past they’ve been better, but I would recommend avista hospital over this place now. It’s shocking how bad it is. We were actually told by the nurse that it didn’t matter what the doctor had told us, he had no say in the discharge - then she pretended to have a call and walked away and never came back.
I have had 4 children here. My first 3 amazing. Everyone took care of me and was so supportive and kind. However, my baby in April 2016 was not the case after he was born the nurse that moved us rooms was very rude. She kept snatching my baby out of my sister's arms. Thank God I only had her that time. Because it really threw me off from this hospital all together.
I was admitted into the hospital the other night due to a kidney stone, when I told them I was 26 weeks pregnant they immediately sent me up to labor and delivery to make sure the baby was safe. The nurses in L&D were fantastic! They were so kind, helpful and caring. My husband fell asleep on the couch and one of the nurses brought him a blanket and covered him up. This hospital and it's staff are truly amazing. I'm so glad we welcomed our bundle of joy here.
Went in for day surgery. They were very compassionate and the RNs that worked with me were true care givers. My only suggestion is to give the sedative cocktail a little earlier before wheeling patients off to the OR. I cried as I was being taken there and apparently for a while in the OR before general anesthesia was administered. But all in all a great experience.
