Save yourself the headache, this place isn't worth considering. We took my friend's husband, who asked for help to give up drinking. He went in Friday night and was supposed to be there 3-days for Detox and they discharged him Sunday morning. That's crazy and irresponsible because it only made him crave it more and he felt hopeless at being able to give up alcohol. Thanks a lot Good Samaritan Hospital and to all the Doctors, Nurses, CNA's and all staff for giving me another chance and letting me back in. Getting clean now a days is getting harder and harder. This time more serious than ever before I turned my back on everything I knew here in. Bakersfield to finally get a grip on myself. So that I had to break the hold Fentynyl, Heroin and all opiates had on me. 7 years of my life gone and that much of fun really self medicating everday and night. It only works if you want to be sober or not. That's the best advice I got while there. The food is horrible jail food was better then that dog food. It smells of curry so bad it's permanently in my nose but some weird way that has kept me sober so hey what ever works. Just Stay. The 3rd is worse n never get suboxane before 72 hours a full 72 hours not what you imagined had been 72 hours it gers better from there and that'd 10000% truth

This place does not want to help people in need I have took my boyfriend multiple of times to get detox he needs and wants help and this place don’t want to take him in.
