My dad was assigned to this agency post-op for Carotid Surgery. He was discharged on 5/25/2022 and on 6/10/2022 he died. The nurse that came to see him found his vitals critically low, and failed to contact the provider or send him to the hospital, knowing the man was gravely ill. Even though I insisted she send him to the hospital her argument was that "I needed to provide him the care", take his vitals and or intervene. I am not medical, it was their job to care for him. They were wonderful. Emily was her visiting nurse is fabulous , Cora her aide is caring and thorough and the staff that set everything up for her home care are always efficient and pleasant.
I was assigned this home care company to do home PT with me after hip replacement surgery. I'm giving them one star because the physical therapists are a joke. The second therapist that came to my house told me to forget everything I was told at the hospital. There's hip precautions that I have and that guy didn't even take that into consideration.
