I am a combat veteran who has only the VA (Basically nothing) and the VA does not do dental. I will most likely be loosing my home in October thanks to the same VA that is supposed to be there for me. It's probably the least of my worries and may not matter come October but I have a tooth that is broken in half and hurts so much that I can barely eat. I was sent away because the VA is technically insurance even though they don't do dental and that is what I need. They did give me a 2-1-1 card though, that should help...
The staff are not friendly, have no insight into the ramifications of certain illnesses, do not schedule tests efficiently, & lack human kindness & compassion. Follow-up is poor, & needed medication is withheld. This being said, the clinic would not be in business if all patients were treated so poorly. So, would judgmental be another issue? Or critical & deeming some patients, the "difficult" ones, undeserving of good care? Jesus was not a respecter of persons, everyone was treated the same. I find the name "Good Samaritan"... read more
