This is my second time coming to good mother braiding and I believe I’m a customer for life. I had a pixie and I’m trying to grow out of my hair and the owner works magic with short hair. I had 2 people turn me away and she was able to grip it and took special care to make sure it didn’t unravel, my first style lasted over 2 months which is a miracle if you saw how short my hair was. Shay the owner of the salon was so warm and welcoming upon arrival as well as communicating with me prior to my appointment. This was my first time getting my hair braided and Ali was absolutely wonderful and very considerate while doing my hair ensuring that I liked it, which I really appreciated. I got small/medium knotless boho braids with two colors mixed. I showed them a photo of how I wanted my hair to look after we discussed exactly what I wanted and they gave me exactly that. Just got my hair done and I am in love The braider was fast and able to grip all of my hair (even soft spots) I been coming to this salon for about a year now and they never disappoint me! Also, the salon has new renovations and it feels like you’re walking into luxury. Really love the work and environment Shay brings into the salon. Best in South Philly hands down !!!!!!
