Me & my daughter stopped in today and we both loved the cupcakes. She got the chocolate and I got the german chocolate cupcake. The cupcakes were fresh and you could taste the chocolate. Just excellent I will frequent this spot. This place is colorful and has great energy!!!!

THEE best!!! I can count on April for the ABSOLUTE BEST VEGAN BAKED GOODS for my 13yr old daughter, who has a milk protein allergy/sensitivity. Me being the hot mess mom that I am , I can call her last minute and she always have something I can swing by and get for my daughter, going to a party for a friend or an event. YOU ROCK!!!! �

Good Cakes & Bakes is my favorite bakery. Not only is it located in my beloved childhood Detroit neighborhood and owned & run by a phenomenal woman, Ms. April. But April is able to bake a dairy & gluten free cake for me that tastes just as delicious as any other. All her other treats I have bought for my friends & family have been a hit too.
