My check engine light went on and Tye was one of the closest repair shop to me. Thank goodness the other place I called could not help me for three days. Tye came to me, checked the car and I found out that we are neighbors. He immediately diagnosed the problem - low on oil - put some in so I could do errands that day and changed the oil the next day. Tye did 2 pre-purchase car inspections for me and I was very pleased to have found his service. He actually answers his phone (which turns out to be a problem with some service people) and he was punctual for both appointments. Tye was happy to explain to me what he was doing while he worked and he quickly identified the repairs that were needed. Based upon his assessments he kept me from buying a car with problems. Tye is a competent mechanic, and he has my 5 star recommendation.
