Went in to the Golfsmith today to buy a new set of irons...it was going to be a great day. After waiting around with not even a hello, I stepped out to check out a couple of other stores before returning to try out and buy the irons. Still no hello and no help (slow Monday). I left and called the store to let them know that they just let $1000 walk out of the store, and asked for a manager. Unpleasant doesn't begin to describe my experience with Golfsmith! I did get some Ping clubs that I love, but it was not a pleasant experience. I wish I had just gone to a golf club and had my fitting done by a golf pro. The guy at Golfsmith, Cumberland - Atlanta was just standing around. I had been told to show up between 12-5 pm and there would be 4 people there, so they could spend time fitting me for the clubs.
