The facilities and staff are pleasant but there are, as other people have photographed, plenty of pests. Not worth what you pay for. Also talk about predatory pricing! Cancelling takes forever and you still have to pay! I cancelled before my one year mark and they still charged me an annual fee and the last month. I cancelled before understand having a 30 day notice policy but it’s not necessary in the slightest, just a money grab
This gym has one MAJOR issue. The roaches. Listen, I understand that it’s difficult to stop them from coming in. Whatever. My issue is that they don’t clean up the dead roaches for DAYS. I mean it. DAYS will go by before they are gone. Genuinely makes me sick to see them out. I come to the gym almost daily and am always so grossed out. It’s honestly a major distraction from my workout :( Please PLEASE just clean the dead roaches off the ground!!! alright Golds Gym, lets fix this AC before I have to come down there and fix it myself.
Your average gym. Staff always super friendly, but given the number of gyms in the DC area this golds gym requires additional investment and upkeep as it’s quite worn and outdated in comparison to other gyms in the area.
