I liked it because I'm 53 and the equipment is straight out of the '80s. It's a damp, ugly little gym with poor lighting, but it's a basic "work out hard and take care of business" gym. No more, no less. I was visiting and worked out there for a day. It's not as glitzy as you'd think Golds Gym should be, but it's definitely a good place to get back to hard basics of working out; which I liked. And the lady at the front desk was very polite. Got a couple of day passes while in town and absolutely crushed a few workouts here. Gold’s Gym Destin did not disappoint. The gym was clean, well-organized, and had an awesome variety of selectorized and plate-loaded equipment. Everything I needed to get in some solid sessions while on vacation. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area who wants to keep their training on point!
We got a temporary membership since we were traveling and it was well worth it. Clean well-lighted place.
