Was the best 24hr gym in the area until they switched to different hours. I, of course, promptly cancelled my membership. (which involved no drama by the way, I dont understand where all these payment complaints are coming from)
About a month ago, I cancelled my account due to financial reasons. To be fair, the facility in which I attended was clean (minus a few sticky floors) and the staff were fairly respectful and friendly. There seemed to always be a broken treadmill somewhere, but there were enough machines that this usually wasn't a problem. However, after I cancelled (a simple process...although I did not appreciate the fact that I had to go in the location and fill out paperwork. The gym is dirty, the workers sit around and watch tv in their office, the have closed off the work out room because they are too lazy to keep it open. Worst gym ever.
In all honesty there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to waste your time at this particular Gold's Gym location. The only positive thing I can say about the place is that it's clean. Horrible customer service. Please don't waste your time and be scammed into paying any money to workout at this gym. Seriously DO NOT give these people your money.
THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!! My fiance lost four hundred dollars from this place AFTER he closed his account and moved EIGHT HOURS AWAY! He called six times and I called about four! They hung up on me and told me he never closed the account. This was bullshit. Why would he keep an account that he didnt even live near? So i wrote a letter to corporate and this location to explain to them how much they suck and how they needed to stop ripping people off!
