I really enjoy going to Gold's at Tower Point mainly because of the instructors. I go to Body Pump with Amber, and she is fantastic. Yoga with Anna can't be beat. She has such a soothing voice and really gets me relaxed. Have gone to Barre, and it's turning out to be one of my favorite classes. Wish we could get another bar as it gets very crowded with just the one. Zumba with April is so much fun and really gets you pumped up. I enjoy morning classes, so these work well for me. The Yoga class taught by Anna B. is great. I was introduced to new moves focusing on stretching and strength tecniques. I heard from others who gave Anna kudos for introducing this type of Yoga. She started the class saying no standing on your head or balancing on your knees. A relief for some of us who could not do both in other Yoga classes.
Been a Gold's Member for many years and love this new location.
I don't like writing this review, because the Gold's instructors are great. The issue I have with this gym is with billing. They continued to withdraw money out of my account for 4 months after I canceled my membership. When I called to get a refund the staff member refused to refund the overcharges. I'm not out almost $200. Find a gym that has better customer service.
This has been one of the best gym experiences I have ever had. I wish they would warm the pool up a few degrees... way too cold. And I wish they had a rock climbing wall. But otherwise, the staff, the coaches, the trainers are all wonderful to deal with and have helped me tremendously.
Wonderful gym. Wonderful people. If you have an inkling of good sense, this is the place you want to be.
