History Established in 1962. Doors opened in 1962 as the original Denny's here in Williams, Az. It wasn't until the mid 80's when the Denny's move up on the hill. And a local family took over and was then turned into the Hoffman house. Hoffman's held the business till the mid 90's. Till new owners took over and re-named the business Goldie's Rt. 66 Diner. Absolutely poor service & very rude! Never greeted at door, when we asked if we sit or wait to be seated we were told "I have to clean a table in a very hateful tone of voice" Our party was then told we would be seated at 2 different tables & then the same waitress threw our menus on the table! We were traveling thru from out of town and we decided we would leave & go to eat next door. Twisters welcomed with smiles & great service!
Worse customer service I've ever experienced at a restaurant from the moment we walked in so we left and went next door to twisters.
I ordered sweet potato fries... didn't get them... something was on my water cup... and there was a bug on my napkin... food was just ok...
A must stop every time were close. Great service amazing food.

Their cheeseburgers are great!! I had the child's slider cheeseburger dinner. Nothing better than a cheeseburger on Hawaiian bread!!
Cheerful welcome. Great service - nothing too difficult. A real old American dinner atmosphere. We had fantastic floats pie and pancakes.
Great food and service. You could tell the servers enjoyed their job. Will return
