History Established in 1962. Doors opened in 1962 as the original Denny's here in Williams, Az. It wasn't until the mid 80's when the Denny's move up on the hill. And a local family took over and was then turned into the Hoffman house. Hoffman's held the business till the mid 90's. Till new owners took over and re-named the business Goldie's Rt. 66 Diner. RecommendedWalking off breakfast from Goldies Route 66 Diner. Poor Stacy and Ashley. They were short-staffed, but kept everyone informed and apologized. That goes a long way when things aren't going as well as they hoped. Thank you, girls! Food was good too!

Highly recommend it. Excellent food excellent service. Very good grilled cheese sandwich one of their specialties. Waitress was very attentive.
Out of 4 visits, this was the worst. Usually the burger is slightly overdone or missing something but damn tasty, drinks never get refilled unless you stop someone passing by. This visit, we entered to an empty cafe shy 1 other table. Waited on promptly, and drinks served immediately. Then the place got slammed. We watched for 15 minutes while our meals sat in the window as our waiter pushed them around during his 4 trips to the window to serve meals ordered 20 minutes after ours. Never ending waiting time; drinks delivered later than the food. Worst hamburger and fries ever eaten in the US: burger and fries overcooked. Sorry, never anymore.
