About this business
History Established in 1962. Doors opened in 1962 as the original Denny's here in Williams, Az. It wasn't until the mid 80's when the Denny's move up on the hill. And a local family took over and was then turned into the Hoffman house. Hoffman's held the business till the mid 90's. Till new owners took over and re-named the business Goldie's Rt. 66 Diner. Great Atmosphere! Located on Route 66 in Arizona, this little diner has alot of "character". The inside replicates the 50's and 60's diners, and the waiters/waitresses are decked out in their Black or Pink T-shirts. Very cute place. However, I was not overly impressed with the selection or quality of the food. Good place to try, for something different.
Goldie's Route 66 Diner is nostalgic fun! Goldie's is a great place to check out and stop for a rest on your road trip - it's got great comfort food, the prices are pretty reasonable - I had a regular burger and fries - and wasn't disappointed!
Recommendedamazing scratch made chicken fried steak and mashed. good size portions and decent service.

Great place to stop on the way to the Grand Canyon. Great little town. lots of Route 66 history.
