History Established in 1962. Doors opened in 1962 as the original Denny's here in Williams, Az. It wasn't until the mid 80's when the Denny's move up on the hill. And a local family took over and was then turned into the Hoffman house. Hoffman's held the business till the mid 90's. Till new owners took over and re-named the business Goldie's Rt. 66 Diner. Excellent stop! Very friendly staff!
Awful! We walked in at 7pm this evening, with 10 people in our party. We were very rudely told "well you'll just have to wait until I get a table cleaned." We waited a few minutes and the waitress with an attitude says "I'll have to seat you 6 and 4." Which that was fine until she proceeds to throw our menus on the table and walk away. Very rude waitresses so we walked out and went next door to twisters where the service was great.
Had breakfast. Very good. Not fancy or lots of extra frills. It was a a very good home cooked breakfast. Simple, quite and would come back.
Friendly, fast service, great food!
I just had a quick breakfast before getting the day started. I had inadvertently left my wallet in the hotel room, so I had to go back & get it. The waitress didn't even bat an eyelash when I left her all the cash I had and told her I would be back with the rest. Typical small town charm! I would definitely return if I am ever in town again!
Good eats, reasonably priced.
Loved this place! great atmosphere, staff was all friendly and the food was delicious! Probably some of the best onion rings I've ever had!
