We have tried multiple types of swim lessons with my 6 year old over the past 3 years. They ranged from private 1:1 lesson to group lessons at our gym. Nothing has really stuck with him or allowed him to make progress. That is until we started at Goldfish. He has made so much progress in just a month. The warm water and the excellent instructors are a great combo. He has gone from dog paddling while struggling to keep his face out of the water to nice long strokes and relaxing into a back float. I love the fun child-friendly atmosphere and all of the teachers we've had thus far have been committed to teaching in a positive manner.
Very clean, fun and enjoyable for the whole family.
I call to get my child into private lessons. The woman who answered the phone was wonderful. She tells me she teaches that age and has 2 openings available on her schedule, giving me the day and times she is available. She transfers me to the manager because only the manager can schedule it. But when I reach the manager to talk schedules, she tells me they won't do private lessons for a child that doesn't have a disability. Huge shout out to the staff at Goldfish Swim School for giving my kids an incredible and FUN first swim lesson experience. They had so much fun and can't wait to go back next week. Teacher Min was fantastic; and the play based, positive approach is just what I was looking for. The pool is 90°, so no shivering! The vibe was so fun, and I feel completely confident waiting in the observation area. 10/10, highly recommend!
