What happen to all the people who had problems with Goldenwest Transmission I guess Jerry and Grant paid someone to clean up their mess? They are not on Yelp any longer I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon with 175,000 miles went to a Toyota dealer and they said a new transmission was need cost around $4,000.00 for a factory rebuilt. I've brought my car here the past several times I needed work done and they've done a great job. On top of that the customer service is fantastic. Both Grant & Jerry in the office take the time to explain the work being done and the breakdown of charges as well as work to make sure their customers get the best overall value on parts. I'd certainly recommend GWT!
I took my Jeep to Golden West Transmission because of a "thumping" noise I couldn't track down. Jerry (Owner) went on a test ride with me and heard the noise. A few days later calls me and says it was the transfer case and needs a new pump. $920.57 later and the noise is still there... He says let me try again. He thinks it is the drive-shaft. Only reason there is one star is because it won't let you post with no stars. I'd give them negative stars if I could. I WILL NEVER recommend this place to any of my friends or family, my enemies for that matter. I had my transmission replaced, by this company, because my car stopped going in reverse. Then my axles started to go bad a month after my transmission was replaced. A year later and 200 miles over the warranty, they refused to look at my car and figure out the problem.
