Several years ago we installed many windows including a custom 8 ft by 8 ft wooden with metal clad sliding door from Golden Windows. I was initially satisfied with the product quality. However, when I attempted to make a warranty claim, I encountered significant challenges. Tarek, who handled my claim, was difficult to deal with and uncooperative. Would not recommend Golden Windows as all windows have condensation even when internal humidity is not high and there is proper air circulation.
Golden Windows was once great. NO MORE! Dealt with them for 30yrs. I'm a Contractor originally out of Kitchener Waterloo. We had purchased windows for our own house 4 yrs ago. One window cracked on the edge of the frame. Upon calling Golden and sending pictures they simply said we broke it and they can't fix that window as they changed suppliers. We did not break it... UPDATE: Apparently their service team is pretty responsive. They managed to book me an urgent appointment before Christmas, to protect the glass from falling apart and potentially hurting the newborn baby in the living room in which the window is located. I guess you just need to reach the right person in order to get problem resolved. **END OF UPDATE One of our windows under their warranty is not insulating properly and needs a replacement.
