We are a group of 10 Ladies that meet every Wednesday for coffee, drinks , dinner, etc and we call ourselves the "Coffee Ladies". We celebrate each of our birthdays with a special dinner and this week the birthday girl chose Golden Temple in Brookline. We were a group of 7 tonight and enjoyed our evening from the drinks to the appetizers and main courses. The Golden Temple Platter and Fried Rice was delicious. Sylvester& I really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was beautiful. What a beautiful building inside. You know Sylvester was looking at that nice work inside because that's what he does.
The service was the worst I've ever experienced, it's like the waiters don't care for their jobs, or need better training. We sat in the dining room area and had to get up and go to the bar to get our drinks because he just disappeared. The bartenders at the bar were great. When we went over to the bar side the waitstaff over there was even more rude, removing drinks from the tables, just taking them away, not even looking at you or asking if it belonged to you. It's a shame I used to enjoy going there.
One of the best tasting food in town...my absolute favorite!
