Wow! Have been in Athens for 9 years, all the time looking for a restaurant that makes great Egg Foo Young (grew up on it in Cleveland OH), and here it is!! We've gotten take out here now 3-4 times, and each meal was lovely. Want extra shrimp? its in there, and they are LARGE- so nice! Want the brown, shiny gravy on your EFY? I decided to give this place another chance since it's changed ownership, and I think this was officially my last visit. I tried to order online online several times and nothing would go in my cart, so I ended up having to call in instead. But I will say the cashier was lovely and probably the only good part of the entire experience. I ordered what was easily the worst Egg Foo Young I've ever had in my life. Not bad. I got sesame chicken and it was good, but not exceptional. Clean inside the restaurant.
New administration, remodeled and you can sit happily and quietly with your family. Very good food, service and price.
The plates were bigger than we expected. The flavors were really good. Hubby had the house lo mein, and I had the Green Jade Special (a new dish for me). They have some of the best crab ragoons I've had in a long time!
