So I am kind of gutted over the reopening of Golden Sun now that they are under new ownership. I ordered all my mains and the dishes are completely different now. Egg Rolls are now frozen. Crab Rangoon is the same type choo choos gets from Sysco. The veggies in the fried rice are obviously previously frozen. The orange chicken came served over steamed broccoli and had no onion chilies or orange peel. The food was great, the environment extremely clean, and comfortable. Also, they had very, very good service, again may I add, the food delicious!

The atmosphere is much better than before new management but the food was not that great. I used to eat here all the time. My daughter’s food was wrong, despite me repeating what I wanted at least 3 times. I had to drive back to the establishment to get a replacement. And then when I opened my food, it was really watery and salty. The woman at the front was very apologetic , but I’m disappointed that I spent almost $50 for 2 meals that we didn’t enjoy and will likely not order from here again.

I ordered a pick up order, unaware that the business was under new ownersip and the dining room is now open. The staff was awesome and the dining room was redone and very nice. The food was very good and seasoned very similar to the meals that Jakie Xie served when he owned the resturant. I am pleased to have another great resturant to dine in. Go see the new owner if you like excellant Chinese food!
