I had carpal tunnel surgery in 2025. My bandage had gotten wet. I was directed to Oakland location because I live in Oakland. Well of course I had a co pay for $30. Just to take a wet bandage off. Always a charge. If you need to use the restroom you may get changed. I don’t even know the name of the NP that re wrapped my hand be careful.
I came here for an ankle injury, which I was clear about when booking, but they paired me with a provider that was not an expert on that type of injury and just referred me to another specialist. So a full copayment and wasted time. The specialist also told me I needed a walker boot, which they provided. Later I got the bill, and realized they charged my insurance over $400 and I had to pay $100 coinsurance for the boot that online was no more than $60! I saw Alexander Bradley at Golden State Orthopedics & Spine yesterday. I'm not sure my 5-minute appointment was normal. He never examined me or asked me to perform any movements to assess my condition. He never discussed the bulk of the findings in the radiology report. I had an MRI done here yesterday. The woman who does the MRIs there is SUPER rude and mean - claimed I was super fidgety and recommended asking a doctor about taking meds. She did and said things like: - Because you "can't stop shaking" (made a shaking motion with her hands, like a seizure) you should ask about meds from your doctor. (I thought you weren't supposed to suggest medical advice?) - IN my face coming out of the MRI machine, going "are you okay??, are you okay??" - clearly annoyed for some reason just because a co... read more
