Last week on 5/13, a driver for SRM Concrete was traveling down the road with an unsecured tool, some type of T-handle dragging behind the truck. The object eventually broke loose and struck my windshield, as shown in the attached photo. Accidents can happen. What is far more concerning is the complete lack of response afterward. Low budget company with high prices and the employees look like they're on drugs and the concrete cracks!
They keep knocking down houses, closing public streets, and encroaching on the adjacent neighborhood. They illegally wash out their trucks and intentionally dump runoff in the alleys. If your a homeowner in the area you may want to look into suing this company for illegally dumping in our backyards. This only further drives down property values making it easier for them to snag up properties around them. I feel so sorry for the people living around them as it seems they are intent on destroying the neighborhood.
Don't trust this place to save your life, the only good reviews are old from when the place had different management or for really simple things like picking up sand (Howell Sand has better prices and people). If their inferior concrete isn't a reason to not go with these guys then let the way they treat their neighbors convince you, just looking around the satellite view you can tell they've been buying up all the land in the neighborhood they can, ripping out and closing roads and alleys for no reason other to inconvenienc... read more
Watched them wash 1/2 yard at the wash area at Coulter and arden road wash area not the first time I have seen it at 9 am 08/02/23 then the driver sat in his tr7ck playing on his ph9ne for 30 min the last truck from there company at this time and date
