They suck! They denied me for a sleep study and then when I questioned them why, they said I did not need it. Then told me to just buy a CPAP machine. Brilliant. On top of that, they use OptumRx, which has nearly as bad of a rating as they do. It is crazy to think, two corporations so bad at their jobs, they even exist. If I was that poor at my job, I'd been fired.
I purchased 3 plans. Dental, Critical illness and Accident expense. I requested cards for each plan but was told they do not issue card for critical illness ( How would I use it ? ) ,Then asked what it covered and how could I use it . After triple bypass surgery and inquiring what it covered , I was informed my plan DOES NOT COVER any part of my surgery ! Needless to say I cancelled both the Critical Illness and Accident Expense accounts.
A ZERO ON STARS if it was possible. Sent to several doctors as “REFERRED”. Went to 3 separate doctor appointments and ALL REFUSED BECAUSE THIS INSURANCE IS NOT ACCEPTED AND AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED IT’s NO GOOD ANYWHERE ! We pay WAY TOO MUCH $708 per month, all I can say. All I can say is you all are in with OBAMA keeping this crap alive and taking advantage of Seniors! Please people do NOT ever purchase health insurance from this horrible fraudulent company!!!! I have had the worst experience with this company. They are so misleading. These plans they offer and charge you a whole lot of money for do NOT give you coverage at all!! I was fraudulently taken for 800$ with NO coverage!!!! Juan Vega was my agent and he screwed us over!! This company is being ran by a bunch of corrupt fraudulent scammers!!!! Do NOT allow to be fooled by them as they are professional scammers!!
Really bad service. I didn't get my insurance ID card. I called, emailed, tried to get my ID card numbers. But customer service just put me on the hold forever or transfer me to different departments. It's March 2026. I haven't able to get my insurance ID card yet, but they keep charging me from my account every month. If you looking for insurance, don't recommend golden rule insurance company/ united health
