We recently went through buying our first home and we had an excellent experience with Golden Oak Lending! We worked with Paul Murrell and he made the experience fantastic! Paul was knowledgeable and helpful. This was our first home buying experience and Paul helped to calm nervous jitters and kept us informed the entire process. As of Nov. 22nd, Golden oak has been trying to refinance my home since sept 15th . We were prequalified, signed the papers immediately and were told this would be a smooth process! As of today , we have had updates ONLY when I push or call their corporate office. However, still no closing date in sight . As of Friday, we moved to underwriting, but ONLY because I pushed!!! Once I learned they moved our file , I learned that the deal we were supposed to achieve isn’t even what we agreed on ....so folks check your details as Go... read more
Great place to work and, having just refinanced with them, the easiest experience too!
They continually send mail that has my actual banks name as the only viewable sender, with some type of “urgent” or attn:equity disbursement as the heading. Opening the letter shows the disclaimer that they are not affiliated with my bank. One of the poorest business practices period. Seems as though it could even have litigious merit as they are initially fraudulently impersonating my bank in an effort to get me to open their junk mail...we’ll see...
They are so good at what they do. They can get you the loan that's just right for you fast. Super easy to work with. Highly recommend them.
