Visiting friends camping and wanted to do something for their hospitality. (We're from RI) I remember going to The Golden Greek some 30 odd years ago and it was delicious then! What a treat to finally come back! Our waitress (I can't believe I forgot her name!) was extremely attentive and friendly! We had the Gorgonzola Prime Rib and Steak sandwiches. Great meal
There were eight of us at dinner. Seven of us ordered steak dinners. I’ve never been to a restaurant where all seven of us received our steaks cooked the way we wanted them . Steaks are hand carved and so tender and juicy even my leftovers were as delicious to eat as arrived to me in the restaurant. You can get a Ribeye steak dinner with salad bar and two different soups for $19.99 . The service was outstanding and I will be going by a lot.
I got ecoli food poisoning from the golden Greek restaurant after eating the chicken al pesto, it was a special......A SPECIAL KIND OF FOOD POISONING!!!!
Every year I take my daughter out to wherever she wants on her birthday and she can get whatever she wants from the menu. Today (14th) my 10yr old picked to go out to the Golden Greek. Our waitress Tabi was awesome. She was completely attentive and super personable (despite the table next to us we saw stiffing her on a tip....PSA for some patrons- if you can afford 2 desserts, you can afford to tip appropriately) We love the food as usual but today our whole celebration was made successful because of her. I had my son's college graduation party at Golden Greek Restaurant tonight. This is my son's favorite place. We had a group of 46 people. The staff was awesome!! When we gave them a few curve balls, they took care of it!! The wait staff were professional, friendly and they worked their butts off to make sure everyone was happy.
