RecommendedWe went the night before Thanksgiving, seated quickly, our server got our order right in. My boyfriend never complains, so at the end his barely eaten meal she offers to wrap up. He says no thank you, I tell her he didn't care for it, and I even thought it was over salted. She apologized, brought the bill, and removed his meal, and only charged for salad bar! Well needless to say, great compromise, and extra tip!
Food was prompt and very good. Service was excellent.
This place is amazing! We hosted a party here over the weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was so tasty and we had the best waitress! Our party had 25 people and she never let us run out of drinks, our food was ready quick and our waitress cut and served our cake for us! All of the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I will definitely be holding future parties here and found a new place to dine at!

I've been a patron of the Golden Greek for over 30 years and the food now is consistently excellent. The fried sea scallops are the best I've had, and a good value. Keep up the quality and consistency, you have a winning combination

I've visited the Golden Greek at 474 Putnam Pike, in Dayville CT many times, purchased gift certificates, and referred this restaurant to many family and friends. I've always been satisfied with the service and food, except for tonight, all of the food was cold and the bay scallops had a bitter taste to them so I could not eat them. Have tried this place more than once over the last 4yrs hoping for good food. Nope, had the broiled scallops without wine sauce, only butter, they were very fishy & chewy (over cooked). Needless to say, they stayed put until I got home. Done with trying, it’s never going to be a good place to eat
This place has REALLY gone down hill over the years. From the 14 help needed signs all over the doors and windows should have been an indicator to turn around but we gave the benefit of the doubt. My carbonara as well as my daughters alfredo with thick and gloppy. Pasta all stuck together in a clump Hers had WHOLE roasted garlic cloves which she bit into and was a complete turn off.
