The place has is great! The therapists are professionals, know what they are doing and are really great people. I can honestly say I have never had more fun at PT as I have had at GGHT. You might want to get to your appointment a bit early because the building is being renovated and finding the entrance and getting an elevator is a challenge. But it is worth the effort!

I've had two hand surgeries, both for stenosis tenovitis in both hands. Post-surgeries, I went to Golden Gate and regained full usage of all my fingers. Melanie and her team of physical therapists are all very knowledgeable about the types of therapies needed to regain use and hand strength back. Not to mention, they're a great group of people!
Just finished up physical therapy for my finger/hand! I had the pleasure of working with all therapists and they are all fantastic. The office accepts some insurances and offer reasonable cash rates if your insurance isn't covered. I highly recommend planning on getting there 15 minutes early for your appointment if you're driving so you can find metered or 2 hour street parking. I've worked along side both Joan and Melanie as a hand therapist. They are both wonderful therapists that listen to their patients and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to upper extremity rehabilitation!
