Always felt the home room vibes when playing there. Ken was always there to welcome me and loved the trick shot shows I did for the kids and community......
The people that worked here, played here, and owned this establishment have been like family to me from day one. They took me under their wings and taught me so much. I am a better person for knowing these people.
I played at the Golden cue off and on from the early nineties until 2006. When I heard about Ken and that they were closing I was heartbroken. It was one of those places I could always stop in and feel comfortable. I'm so glad I got to stop in on Sunday for one last nine ball tourney. RIP Ken
