Ruben came out early this morning when the furnace started blowing out air that smelled a little metallic. The sky was still gray from the night fog, and the house had that chilly bite that makes you hurry for a jacket. He opened the panel, checked the burner assembly, and found a cracked igniter that was keeping the whole thing from firing up properly.
