A Hot Sweatbox -- Beware! – Not a bad gym 8 months out of the year. Then warm weather starts and it turns into a hot, humid sweatbox. I think they actually do turn on the AC during the summer, but they also keep windows and doors open to the outside (upstairs and downstairs), which lets in the hot, humid air & negates the AC. I said as I was leaving the gym today, if it's *this* uncomfortable to work out here in mid-May, think about what's coming in August!" Avoid this gym! – The gym may seem like a good idea, but once you join if you have a complaint, it will not be addressed and you will not be able to cancel your membership. They also are horrible at returning phone calls. Save yourself the stress and find a different gym! I wish I could give zero stars, but the minimum is one. Gold's Lexington does not even deserve one star...
Beware! dishonest new owner – Old owner bought back gym 3 months ago and set the counter to zero for members with existing training sessions. Broken equipment. The nightmare from hell.
This place is perfect for the Hardcore Bodybuilder or just for getting in shape – I have been to two of the locations of Gold's. I have done some traveling and worked out at alot of other health clubs/gyms. And by far, Gold's has been the best. ON EVERYTHING! They have the equipment needed for Hardcore or just getting that figure you so disire. The staff is excellent and so darn friendly and "know their stuff" when it comes to fitness.
