We got married in Venice on Monday, went shopping for the afternoon & then came to the Gold Rush for dinner. The food was gorgeous & Frank who served us was even better. What a lovely man, we told him we'd got married in the afternoon just in conversation & he offered us free dessert as his treat to us. For a Sunday night (5:30), out of "season", the place was pretty busy and got busier. Our waiter(s) did a good job of keeping up with the crowd. We had the baby back ribs which were lean and meaty and very tasty. The cucumber salad was good..........had tomatoes as well as cucumbers and onions. FYI.....they only serve beer or wine...........no mixed drinks.
Excellent service and amazing food. I've fallen in love with their green beans. I'm glad this place is close to me. Best bbq around
Day 6 still now power - and our fav restaurant was open tonight! Sharing stories sitting at the bar and Char who is an amazing person and server made us laugh and gave us some sense of normalcy! We feel so displaced - and she just made us feel so special and treated us with extreme kindness and love! Thank you Char from the bottom of our hearts - we love you dearly!
Very pleased with the food, very exquisite and the service excellent. The waiter who served us, Michael, very attentive and helpful. My wife, my children and our friends were very pleased. Good job��������
It wasn't bad, but not very tasty- I caved to my husband wanting to try it out- I'd definitely choose Sonny's next time. We were seated immediately though & our server was nice. I didn't really catch his name - The portions were big; we didn't leave hungry! Their sauce did not agree with either of us though - almost made for a bad beach trip.
