Classic throwback diner! The food is always good and pure comfort. The service is great and there are many "regulars". Highly recommend next time you visit Reno.

We ordered the patty melt and a Cobb salad. The Cobb salad was beautifully arranged, full of fresh ingredients and delicious. The patty melt was cooked as requested and served on marbled rye. The clam chowder was full of clams. The waitstaff were friendly and very accommodating. The Gold and Silver Inn is now on our go to restaurant list.
Found this place by looking up Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on our vacation. Clam chowder was the best I've ever had, service was great...the only thing I didn't like about this place was people smoking cigarettes in the restaurant. Other than that, everything was great!!!
Chicken and dumping soup with dill in the broth. Dill in the dumplings. Lemonade pork chops...... Chili that is NOT your store bought canned chili!
