Movers were very fast, hard working. Got everything done to our needs. We had a lot of larger items which was the reason why we needed a larger moving service for the move. They were able to get everything loaded up and moved into our home the next day. I appreciate their hard work and dedication. Would hire them again.
The movers were very friendly. I called them once to ask some questions and they were quick to get back to me. They showed up on time for the move, then on the drop off date. Price was a bit more, but we had them do a lot more so I understand that reason. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Golans.
Movers were all very nice and professional, however the management was extremely unhelpful and kept giving us the run around when our stuff was over a month late arriving. They blamed it on being too busy at first, then covid, then stopped answering our questions all together. In total we received our things 50 days after they picked it up. The movers who work for Holland are very professional, the customer service absolutely is not. I would never recommend using this company.
Golan Moving Storage are thieves. On February 29, 2020, four movers and the foreman, Raymond, showed up at my residence at 380 Harvest Lane in South Elgin, IL. They were scheduled to move me from Harvest Lane to 1051 Woodhill Court in Elgin, IL. I gave a generous tip of $150.00 per man or a total of $600.00 The foreman, Raymond, was an honest man, but one of the four Hispanic moving men who barely spoke English stole a pair of opal earrings valued at $500.
