Long story short. I was hit by a snow plow and my truck had been to several mechanics/Alignment business. Same story- Needs an Alignment and new tires or we can "try" XY and Z. Someone recommend Goin' Straight for a 4th opinion🤦♀️Ended up being best decision ever! The owner John is the nicest guy. Art is subjective and comes in all forms. For the past two weeks we have been in Portland waiting for repairs on our fifth wheel. The frame was catastrophically bent, twisted and otherwise destroyed. So much so the shock mounts were rubbing against the tires creating groves. It was amazing they did not blow out or that they did not erupt in flames. Went to get my car checked out. I just bought it about a week ago and took it for a good free way drive. I noticed some issues so I took it to John! I’ve been coming here since the late 80’s. John and the rest of the guys here always do awesome work, and they are super fair with pricing!

Look I am just a regular guy, and am pretty confident in my automotive skills. My truck needed lots of love, John and the guys didn’t jerk me around. They told me what it needed and when they found deeper problems when I wasn’t there they took video and pics to show me what was wrong. The gals in the office kept me updated on progress and test drove to make sure it was right. Went in 2017, was told I need a strut bushing. I paid a mechanic to do it, $70. The van was practically diving off the road. I went back. They charged me $35 to adjust the steering gears. The van tracked slightly sideways down the road and the steering wheel wasn't straight. I didn't get back for almost a year, as I moved. I went in expecting a free adjustment for the steering wheel. They said the strut bushing was wrong, installed backwards, and my bearings were loose, and I needed a ball joint. I paid $100 to have the stru... read more
