Long story short. I was hit by a snow plow and my truck had been to several mechanics/Alignment business. Same story- Needs an Alignment and new tires or we can "try" XY and Z. Someone recommend Goin' Straight for a 4th opinion🤦‍♀️Ended up being best decision ever! The owner John is the nicest guy. John and Marc ( Mechanic) explained everything that needed to be done and physically showed me what was going on with my truck (Bent rear axle, Tires out, Front upper ball joints shot, outta Alignment.) There was no guessing game... read more

Went in 2017, was told I need a strut bushing. I paid a mechanic to do it, $70. The van was practically diving off the road. I went back. They charged me $35 to adjust the steering gears. The van tracked slightly sideways down the road and the steering wheel wasn't straight. I didn't get back for almost a year, as I moved. I went in expecting a free adjustment for the steering wheel. They said the strut bushing was wrong, installed backwards, and my bearings were loose, and I needed a ball joint. I paid $100 to have the stru... read more

As a teacher on the coast for many years I asked my Facebook friends for a recommendation for an alignment shop. My tires were wearing out on the outside. Going Straight was highly recommended, and I made an appointment to have them look at it while I was to be in the Portland area. I took it there and JJ saw that the rear of my Toyota Highlander Hybrid was not adjustable from the factory, and that the front would need more adjustment than it would take without after market camber adjustable bolts. Four camber adjusts were i... read more

I would like to thank and recommend Goin Straight! JJ and crew, number one ARE HONEST. They will tell you if you need an alignment or not, and not just do it to make money. They also got a broken lug nut out of my bmw, and didn't even charge me because it only took 15 min. Thank you JJ and team! Justin

I came in to Goin Straight to get a second opinion on my brakes. The Dealer told me that the fronts were at 3mm and the backs were at 4mm and we should probably do all of the brakes and just get it done for $580. After about a 15 min inspection at Goin Straight, JJ told me I wouldn't need brakes until probably FEBRUARY and not only that but my front brake pads had less wear than my rear. She even took me to my car to show me with my own two eye that my brakes have lots of pad left on them. They told me come back in 3-4 month... read more

Since 2004, I've have used Johns (Goin Straight) since purchasing my 1993 motorhome. They have replaced most of the suspension parts as well as the brakes. John uses his vast experience to set alignment and make the rig go straight down the road. In the office, JJ will take care of you. Unlike most shops, you can actually talk to her or John and discuss your vehicle issues. Pricing is more than fair.

My 1988 Toyota truck was hit while parked and the frame was bent along with some quarter panel and tail damage. I had a heck of a time finding a body or repair shop that could or would fix it due to the age. It actually spent almost 2 years sitting at a body shop. Not wanting to just give up as it had a new engine, transmission and more, I was then referred to John's after calling around and spoke to JJ who was very helpful. Well they were happy to take it on and they did an incredibly great job. I just wanted to make the tr... read more

I dont even know where to start with these guys. My experience was outstanding and I would recommend this shop to anyone. Had another shop butcher my steering set up so I took it here. These guys spend a hour and a half working and perfecting my steering and it drives like a dream now. I don't daily drive my vehicle due to it being a off road rig only but after there work I almost drive it every day. Thank you guys for everything you did to my 2000 jeep Cherokee
