Had all the windows on the back of the house done by Jay's and the whole thing went smoother than I expected. been thinking about replacing our windows for like two years and finally pulled the trigger. got a quote from Jay’s pretty quick and they were straightforward about pricing. no weird upsells or pressure tactics. install crew came out maybe a week later and knocked it all out in a day. house already feels different.
They replaced all the windows on the front of our house - six total including a big picture window in the living room. The new ones are vinyl double-hung and they look so much better than the old aluminum frames we had before. Everything fits tight, no gaps, and the difference in how quiet it is inside is noticeable. The crew that handled the install in Downers Grove was fast and had everything wrapped up in a day. Really glad we finally pulled the trigger on this one.
They replaced eight windows on the main floor and installed a new bay window in the living room, which was the part I was most nervous about. The bay window frame is solid and the angles are clean where it meets the exterior wall. You can actually sit on the ledge now without feeling a draft which sounds minor but it was always cold there before. Our Downers Grove place is a split level from the 70s so nothing is perfectly square but the fit on every window looks really good. The bay window alone changed that whole room.
