Prices are very high, Natalie is fantastic, manicure is a joke. – I have been going to Natalie for about a year now. She is fantastic! Great hair cuts. VERY nice. Prices are outrageous. The first 3 times I walked out with a bill close to $200. One thing you have to be careful about is that they really push the products. Cara has miracle hands! – I met Cara while she was still in school and will follow her across the country if I have to. My skin has never looked this good, and people are asking me if I lost weight or changed my hair. I barely even have to wear powder and foundation after one of her facials, and ever since she has opened my eyes to glycolic peels, I swear I see less wrinkles. Rude, conceited, overated..... – I had heard much ado about Scandals as one of the premiere salons in the area, so when my assignment from my editor was to write a review, I was needless to say, excited....and then disappointed. Disappointed – I have been going here for awhile now for peds and mans. The first girl I went to after years of working there is now at another spa. So I started going to Sarah and she's great!! That's the only great. I had my reg. appt and my babysitting didn't work out so I decided to bring my 5 yr old. That's the first time I ever brought her in over 2 yrs. Mothers Day Gift – I was just at Scandals Day Spa today using a gift certificate that I got for Mother's Day. I LOVED IT! The girl that did my facial was so informative about my skin that I ended up purchasing a package from her to come in for skin treatments for the next 8 months! The facial was so relaxing and I my pedicure was even better! I could have my feet rubbed all day long if someone would let me! I will definitely be going back...hopefully my hubbie will keep getting me gift certificates!
She must have gone somewhere else... – I just read a review by someone who said she would not go back to Scandals and I am thinking, huh, that's weird, I go there every month or so, and what she described is not like anything I've EVER experienced or seen there. I have my nails, hair and facials done there and I've always been treated very well. I love the atmosphere-everyone is very cordial and welcoming. It's a shame that this lady had such a bad experience there, but I personally won't stop going because of her reveiw.
WOULDNT SPEND ANOTHER SECOND AT THIS SPA!! – I WENT INTO THIS SPA WITH A G.C. FOR A PEDICUE AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE GIRLS THAT WERE THERE WERE ALL TALKING TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON ME. MY MANICURISTS DIDNT EVEN TURN ON MY MASSAGE CHAIR OR ASK ME IF I WANTED ANYTHING TO DRINK. THE MASSAGE WAS POOR AND THE WHOLE PEDICURE WENT BY EXTREMLY FAST. I WAS 10 MINUTES LATE TO EVEN GET INTO THE CHAIR BC SHE WAS RUNNING LATE AND THEN I WAS DONE BEFORE MY HOUR WAS TO BE UP. Great stylist, bad environment – I walked in the door and felt the tension instantly. it seemed like everyone hated working there. My hair turned out amazing and i loved my stylist. but i had a small issue while paying and the situation was handled horribly. The manager openly yelled at the girl at the front desk, and then was rude to me. hmmm...maybe new management is an idea. i loved my hair but i dont think i'll be returning, i like my visits to be relaxing....what a shame
