I highly recommend taking a sail on the Thomas E. Lannon schooner, that is berthed aside the Gloucester House restaurant. My gf and I went on the two hour schooner sail... Having arrived early we enjoyed a little sangria at the GH, before the cruise. Upon, our return we utilized our sail tickets to enjoy 2 cups of Gloucester House delicious clam chowder... And in addition we shared the blackened haddock tacos and 1 lobster roll. Plenty of food to share between us.

The waitress Jami was fabulous... she recommended the blackened fish tacos. They were excellent. We also got a lobster roll which was delicious. Go visit Jami and have some sangria 😃

Its just ok. Didnt get a friendly vibe when we walked in. No smile from the hostess and waitress seemed rush although it wasn't that busy. Seafood soup was listed as having fresh catch of the day. It did have a huge chunk of something I couldnt identify. It wasnt a clam, quahog, scallop or shrimp but it tasted fishy. Lobster roll was good but expensive. Wont rush back!

We had a large party, and everyone had something different. Food was delicious, lobster was amazing and so fresh it tasted like it had only been out of the ocean for minutes! Our server Molly was terrific, making sure we had everything we needed and answering our questions about local weather vanes with pleasure.
