I went in to get their signature manicure and pedicure along with a gel nail removal As the guy went into remove the gel, he drilled too deep into my nails and absolutely destroyed them. He proceeded to then soak them in acetone for an hour leaving them even more brittle. After that, he drilled even more to remove the leftover. The proper way to remove gel is to buff off the top coat, soak the rest, and then it can simply be pushed off without damage. A friend and I were looking for a place to get some nail art done and Gloss Bar did not disappoint! Jenny and Quyen helped us pick the right colors and made our visions come to life. The spa has a beautiful, relaxed environment and we had no trouble finding parking (though it was 2pm on a Wednesday). I will definitely be back next time I'm looking for a fun, custom mani! EDIT: Came back to say it’s 4 weeks later and my nails haven’t budged an inch! Very impressed with staying power of the builder gel here.

Hi, I came in today for a BIAB/builder gel service and unfortunately I am very dissatisfied with both the process and the final result. During removal of my previous set, the technician used a cuticle tool to pry and remove the product rather than properly filing and soaking it. This was painful and left my natural nails feeling extremely thin and damaged with layers peeling. extremely disappointed with my nails. i actually hate them. after paying $210 (+ tip) for nails i hate, i have to start with the bad. the bad: i requested apres gel-x extensions and this salon offers the service. my nail tech, nini, did not ever ask me if i wanted sculpted or natural, just whether i wanted to keep the length and the shape. okay, that’s fine. what’s not fine is the fact that while removing my old set, she nicked me badly with the e-file and didn’t say anything and just kept going while i was bleeding. for th... read more

Love going to Gloss Bar to get my nails done and got them done by Ashima this time. She did a stunning job not only on my nails, but also my brows and face too! The threading was done so well and it has made a huge difference in the way my brows look. Definitely coming back to get everything done by her again!
