There was a time when I didn’t trust warranties in general but Globe really came through and fixed my problem. My washing machine stopped working and with three kids that thing is constantly running. Just after a couple of days the clothes start piling up. I called Globe and put in my claim and heard from a contractor that afternoon. Times are pretty tough right now so I was happy to have this warranty on my home. I had water leaking all over the floor from the dishwasher. Called Globe Home Warranty and gave them my claim. They had like 15 questions, but I got it submitted. A contractor was pretty quick to call. My deductible is $75 which I had to pay to him at the first visit. Last week my garage door opener stopped working. I checked the sensors but everything seemed fine. It was just flashing and clicking but would not open the door. I called Globe and let them know and they had a contractor call me the next day. The contractor let me know it was a bad circuit board and that with my opener it was not worth repairing. I submitted a claim last week on my dryer. It was taking hours to dry a load of laundry. Globe had a vendor call within a couple of days and set up an appointment. The technician sent was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. He had to look for a part and arrived back this morning to complete the repair. The dryer is now working as it's supposed to. I paid my $75 service fee and Globe paid for the rest.

Globe Home Protection has been great in dealing with my AC problem. My AC started making this awful noise outside. So loud that my daughter and neighbors could not sleep! It started making the loud squealing sound every time it ran. It was still cooling – just really, really loud. I called Globe to let them know and they started my claim. I received a call from a technician, Don, late afternoon and he came out the next morning. He said it was bad bearings on the motor and he would call it in to be replaced. I had Globe Home Protection replace my refrigerator a couple of weeks ago. We had some little issues with the contractor but Globe stayed on them and kept us informed the whole time - daily actually. They eventually had to switch vendors but they got the job done and were diligent in their work throughout the claim. They did well. It can be difficult chasing vendors and moving things forward I'm sure.

I am writing this review to let everyone know about the service received. My microwave stopped working and I filed my claim with globe. They sent a contractor that explained that the cost of repairing the unit was not worth it due to the age of the microwave. That's understandable it's as old as the house so it had to be 12 years old and had some wear on it. When Globe was told about it they bought a similar one at the Home Depot down the street. So my experience so far has been pretty positive. I moved into this property four months ago so I’m new to the home. Everything was working fine and I was happy with the home until last week when my water heater started leaking. My floors, walls and everything were soaked and I have had fans running in the hall for a week hoping to stop any mold from growing. I called Globe Home Protection and put in my claim. Hello All - I just received service from Globe Home Protection. It was a good experience. The claims people we nice enough. The company they sent was professional. And they fixed my water heater. All in all I am pleased with the service.
