RecommendedWe had our staff Christmas party/dinner at Global Restaurant. I was SO happy with how everything turned out. Ahead of time, Chef Bernard was so friendly and helpful. Excellent food, service and experience!
While the incredibly small food portions were delicious, and my server was fantastic,my problem lies with the owners/management. Once I recieved my Credit Card statement I realized that I was overcharged by over $30. After contacting the owners with receipt evidence of the discrepancy I was told that my card had been charged for another person at my table. Instead of correcting the error I was told by the owner to "settle up" with the other person at my table or to send my credit number and the other person's credit card num... read more

such amazing food.... the duck was incredible! and dessert was delicious, too. very relaxed atmosphere.
We enjoyed our dinner at Global and highly recommend it! Started with the cheese platter, then had she crab soup, black truffle Mac & cheese, phenomenal entrees, with great company and lovely atmosphere!
I've never had a bad meal here. Chef Bernard is one of the city's most talented chefs, and his wife Shannon always makes us feel welcome. A true Mom & Pop, independent operation that takes cuisine and hospitality to the next level, in a cozy, beautifully restored space. If you haven't had dinner here yet, make a reservation, stat!
