Paid policy holder who luckily didn’t need Global Rescue services directly, however another member travelling with us was seriously injured and we received no assistance when trying to rescue him from a potentially life threatening situation. Save your money, you’ll be fending for yourself anyway.

I was first-on-scene to a mate who went over his bars in Mongolia, resulting in a serious back injury. Through hours of on-scene management and talking with call stations (via satellite phone), we got nothing more than 3rd-world medical questions from what sounded like poorly (nil) qualified persons. In short, we were a group of 12 who all bought into this rubbish scheme, but ended up evacuating our mate through our own resourcefulness. Global Rescue are everything but!

Global Rescue didn't do squat for a friend with a spinal injury in the desert of Mongolia!

I was a motorbike rider in a group of 12 sightseeing in the Gobi Desert Mongolia. One rider fell off and broke his back. Global Rescue did nothing but advise to seek local assistance. I recommend not use this company they provided zero support

As a paid member of Global Rescue (GR) during a recent trip to Mongolia (24/07/23) I was astounded when they could offer little more than commentary when a rider (also a paid and valid member of GR) who had later been confirmed with 4x broken vertebrae was advised to make his own way to seek medical attention to the nearest town. I was in the support vehicle that drove him for over 7 hrs across unformed tracks to his first hospital, and then to the airport the next morning to fly commercially to Ulaanbaatar.
