I had 2 944 steering racks rebuilt about a year ago. Paid 325 each for them to be rebuilt. Installed one that I keep for stock a week ago. When car started could not turn steering left. Was told a seal came out of place.They wanted to charge me over 800 dollars to fix a problem they built in. Steering rack wasn’t in the car for 100 km.Was not told it wasn’t covered by warranty until I came to pick it up.Been happy with their service in the past but this is not fair.
Had a great experience with GR&P. Dropped the unit off from my 2008 ford ranger and had it back within 48 hours.Price seemed very reasonable. Not sure what a typical turn around time for this type of service would be but I was able to get my truck back on the road and get back to servicing clients within 3 days during the busiest time of year for me. Rebuilt the electric rack for my w167 mercedes GLE. Its pristine and good as new. This is an electric rack and most places told me its too difficult. These guys came though and the price was very reasonable. I will reccomend again to anyone
Experienced guys, I have a mercedes G wagon that hit pot hole so hard while turning my rack was making noise - toronto roads 🤦. These are the only guys that said they would give it a shot. Turns out the control arm slightly bent sending force into my rack. The bearing was damaged. They repaired it and were excellent with their word and price. Im very satisfied
