I flew out of SJO airport in Costa Rica with frozen tuna and had it wrapped at the wrapping station just as you enter the airport. They said I could get it rewrappe if securiyy cut it. I went through security and they cut off the wrap and said they would cut it again if I went back through security if I got it wrapped again. I had my suitcase covered on 08/19/2025 5:53 PM and the staff asked me 2 times to pay, withholding $46 dollars for a suitcase. I pointed out to the guy that he withdrew 2 times and he told me that I would receive the refund. I've never had any refund. Fraud
The service at the Barcelona airport was horrible. Yesterday, we went to a wrapping station next to one of the gates to wrap our luggage before a long trip. The assistant working there told us that the service cost is 28 euros per 23-kilogram bag, which includes insurance of 2,000 USD per bag. We told him that insurance was unnecessary because our travel insurance includes bag protection. He insisted that the only available service included the 2,000-USD insurance, so we had to take it.
