You can buy goetta and sausages here from 10-2 mon-thur. Its about half the price of going to kroger. It is hard to find but park in the loading dock and enter the door on the right. Quick and easy.
EDIT (SEPT. 2025): I HAVE TRIED GLIER'S GOETTA A FEW TIMES SINCE POSTING THE PREVIOUS REVIEW. IT APPEARS THE "OLD" GLIER"S GOETTA IS BACK. IT NOW HOLDS TOGETHER WELL AND TASTES GREAT. I have eaten only Gliers goetta for 40 yrs. I eat it EVERY morning for breakfast. But lately (twice in last 2 weeks) I got a roll with a big chunk of reddish- black hard thing (looked like 3/4 of a roach body). I cut it out, but it grossed me so bad. Then today I sliced 4 pc and fried it (different roll) and it was literally floating in grease. I had to use 2 large paper towels to soak up all grease. It just seems maybe they are having quality control issues. Please fix problems. I love goetta.
Glider's goetta is not the same product that I have loved over 50 years. It's a shame that apparently to cut corners in order to save money, you have destroyed the best product on the market. The pinhead oatmeal is like birdseed and there is so much fat it falls apart. We moved from the Cincinnati area and when we come back we stock up for a year. I have cooked three rolls now with the same result. What a waste of money. The package states original recipe but clearly it's not! The rest of the rolls I purchased are going in t... read more
