I love this market! Plenty of wonderful produce vendors, plus some wonderful gems. Mindful Bakery has impossibly wonderful vegan, gluten-free pastries and bread. Phoenix Tofu is there with a selection of locally crafted tofus and soy noodles. One stop shopping for maple cream, portabella tamales, fresh cut flowers, and special goodies galore. My kiddos' favorite vendor is The Stick Up for popsicles. The market matches Link card dollars, and all of the cutest dogs in the neighborhood seem to be there.
I never thought suggesting a recycling can and garbage can would result in the director spewing ignorance from her face. Apparently "we don't need recycling or garbage cans for the Sunday market because EVERYTHING is compostable". I disagree, plastic bags, cups, and other items are very much non-compost items.
